In the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern region there is not only a good selection of toboggan runs, but you can also find one of the longest illuminated toboggan runs in Carinthia.
Tobogganing
Here is a selection:
- Mallnitz: the Mallnitz-Jamnigalm toboggan run (3.5 km) is one of the longest illuminated toboggan runs in Carinthia. Actually it is the access road to Jamnigalm, but it is closed for individual traffic and is only used by the tour skier and the toboggan taxi.
- Heiligenblut: The Heiligenblut-Ponwald toboggan run is approx. 1.1 kilometers long, illuminated daily until 11 am and is located in Winkl. Tobogans can be borrowed from Intersport Grossglockner.
- Innerfragant: The Haselstein toboggan run (1 kilometer) is located near the valley station of the Mölltaler Gletscherbahnen at Hotel Badmeister in Innerfragant.
