There is an abundance of sporting activities in Mörtschach. Whether you are an experienced adventurer or an enthusiastic recreational sportsman, Mörtschach has something for everyone. The possibilities are endless!

for young & old

Großglockner Pass

Our inn is located at the start of the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, a wonderful route over Austria's highest mountain. You must have seen this!

Hiking

Of course you can go hiking in the mountains, but there are also several gorges in the immediate vicinity that are well worth a walk.

Cycling

Would you prefer to explore the area by bike or mountain bike? Please let us know in good time and we will make sure that bicycles are available for you in our guesthouse!

Golf

A beautiful golf course is 22 km away. The Dolomitengolf Osttirol golf club has a 36-hole golf course.

Skiing

The Mölltal Glacier, the official training venue of the Austrian ski team, is half an hour away from our guesthouse.

Rafting

Half an hour away (Lienz) you can go rafting on the Drau, a wonderful active experience you won't forget!

Tobogganing

Osttirodler is half an hour away from our guesthouse, where young and old can enjoy a real summer toboggan run!

Swimming / Fun

Naturbad Großkirchheim is only 5 km away from our inn, and brings a whole day of fun for the whole family.

Paragliding

If you need more action, take the adrenaline kick of a tandem paragliding jump in Oberlienz. Fantastic experience with a magnificent view.
